Before signing up you will need to complete the following:

6 hours of maintenance shifts (3 shifts at 2 hours each)

Fear Free Online Training - 5 online modules, will be sent a link after orientation to get started. If you were not sent one, please reach out to volunteering@lostourhome.org.
This training focuses on educating new volunteers on the policies and best practices of Lost Our Home Pet Rescue. You will learn how to approach a dog in their kennel, read their body language, attach a leash, take them out to our play yards, interact with them, and take them on a walk(as indicated by our behavior staff). We will also educate you on how to best clean a kennel and replenish water, etc. Please wear closed toe shoes, no dangling jewelry and long pants are required (dog nails hurt on bare legs!)
Everyone coming to training must be registered and meet the requirements.
This training will last 2 hours.
