**FRONT DESK & RECEPTION TRAINING**
Volunteers who respond to this opportunity need to have complete Shadow Shift
Our front desk is always active, and we're looking to add some reliable folks to help keep things going strong up front.
The Front Desk & Reception role usually involves a mix of:
- Greeting guests and providing customer service
- Answering phones, emails, and general shelter questions
- Connecting prospective adopters, fosters, volunteers, event partners to areas of interest, and links to apply
- Assisting with incoming deliveries & donations
- Gathering incoming Food Bank orders to distribute
- Hanging out with our wonderful Adoptions team!
Ideal volunteers, once trained, will enjoy people, have relatively consistent availability, and be able to assist on Thursdays or weekends, but come try out the area first with low pressure and see how it goes!
Do note: conversations may at times carry some emotional weight (be about serious topics), though most are quite fun.
