At Shadow Shift, we will tour the facility, go over proper Shelter Care (laundry, dishes, kennel deep cleaning) procedures, answer any questions, and discuss other volunteering opportunities. The whole goal is for volunteers to leave confident and ready!
Notes:
- Please register for only ONE Shadow Shift. Please speak with Volunteer Coordinator Chris Walker if you feel any follow-up training/support may be needed
- After completing this Shadow Shift, you are eligible for independent Shelter Care shifts, and much more
- Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled start time and be sure to observe LOH dress code (long pants, closed-toed shoes)
- You'll Sign in at the Volunteer Kiosk (behind the front desk) and create a nametag prior to shift
- **Reminder that any minors 8-15 must be accompanied by a parent at all times. Each need their own volunteer profile & sign up.
