PUPPY ENRICHMENT & SOCIALIZATIONNote: Must have completed at least Green Paw Dog Training to register for a shift

This shift is meant to help our amazing but in-need of training puppies in the shelter and give them quality time away from kennels. As of this Fall, we have a TON. Can include:

Play in the playroom - NOTE: if ON Puppy Protocol, should only be going here or the X-Pen in Dog IntakeDog Walking & Agility Training (only for the puppies OFF Puppy Protocol - like Rockwell, Madison, Yuka)Reading, Petting, Brushing, etc...

Kindly remember especially for the puppies:

Please mop the playroom after useBe mindful to tidy up their kennel before returning the puppiesBe sure to note all enrichment on the boardObserve puppy protocol (gowns, gloves, bleach) when it appliesEven taking them to the playroom, introducing them to different types of bowls, food puzzles, toys, etc., would be really beneficial. Having them walk on different surfaces (can be as silly as a lid to a large container) and using treats to lure them could help. Bringing the ball pit in that room could be great. If we could get a collapse-able wagon and bring them to the big playroom to spend time and do different things, it would be wonderful.
